Amtrak Train 821, The Heartland Flyer, pulls into the depot in Gainesville Texas on October 9, 2021. The Flyer is a bigger train than usual, and sports both “Big Game Train” logos on both locomotives that bracket seven cars.

Today is the ‘Red River Shootout’ , the traditional rivalry between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma that is played at the Cotton Bowl. Oklahoma, Ranked number 6 defeated Texas by a score of 55-48!! It was a real shootout.
