A Norfolk Southern local ducks under the PA 75 bridge in Port Royal Pennsylvania. The concrete span was built in 1910 and is 76 feet in length. In poor condition, it was scheduled to be replaced when this view was shot. The former Pennsylvania Railroad “Middle Division” through the Allegheny Mountains was home to numerous position light signals, which, alas have largely been replaced.
