UP 1943, honoring service members hustles through Sabinal Texas, headed for Eagle Pass and a transfer to the Mexican rail system. It won’t be long before all of those empty beer bottles in the trailing boxcars are filled with Corona Beer, and will be heading back to Texas . It’s not unusual to see solid trains of boxcars, empty bottles headed west and south from a plant in the US and beer headed back in those same cars.

So unfurl the stars and Stripes and have a cold one to celebrate the bravery of those who have gone before.
